UK-Lunar staff in 'sex-for-visa' scandal
Staff at Croydon's Lunar House are under investigation after a former employee accused Home Office officials of granting visas in exchange for sex. Anthony Pamnani, who worked as an administrator at the immigration centre in Wellesley Road for four years, claims pretty applicants were allowed through while ugly ones were rejected. The 23-year-old, who lives in Thornton Heath, told a national newspaper that colleagues forced attractive girls into having sex in exchange for permission to stay in the country.
