"European March Car Sales Rise 4.1%, Led by Fiat (Update3)
April 14 (Bloomberg) -- European new car sales rose for a third month in March as models such as Fiat SpA's Grande Punto subcompact and Volkswagen AG's Passat sedan spurred demand.
Sales climbed 4.1 percent to 1.79 million vehicles, the Brussels-based European Automobile Manufacturers Association said in an e-mailed statement today. The month of March had more selling days, which helped lift revenue. First-quarter sales rose 3.2 percent to 4.13 million cars, the group said."
