The giant Airbus A-380 - with room for 800 people on board - glided into London's Heathrow airport for its first touchdown in Britain.Built by a consortium of European companies from Britain, France, Germany and Spain, the double-decker Airbus A380 is a direct challenge to Boeing's old warhorse, the 747.
