Iberia plans to outpace Air France-KLM in Europe-LatAm routes
MADRID (AFX) - Iberia, Lineas Aereas de Espana SA plans to outpace Air France-KLM in their Europe-LatAm routes as part of its 2006-2008 strategy, the Spanish flag carrier's chairman Fernando Conte said in an interview with Expansion.
According to the chairman, Iberia's main objective in the next two years will be to 'win the battle' with Air France-KLM by targeting strong growth in its LatAm routes -- with more direct flights and improved services in business and in tourist classes -- while consolidating its market presence in the US.
