"E.U.: Israeli strikes ‘disproportionate’
The European Union accused Israel of using “disproportionate” force and worsening a humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
“The E.U. condemns the loss of lives caused by disproportionate use of force by the Israeli Defense Forces and the humanitarian crisis it has aggravated,” Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen said in a statement Friday. Finland holds the 25-nation bloc’s rotating presidency."
