MTV Europe Music Awards ready to rock Copenhagen
COPENHAGEN, Denmark -- The Danish capital was getting ready Thursday for the 13th edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards at two venues, including an outdoor scene where performers and fans faced near-freezing temperatures. Meteorologists urged fans to dress warmly for the two-hour show. "Temperatures will be just above freezing so, yes, it's going to be cold," said Bill Vejdegren of the Danish Meteorological Institute.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are nominated in four categories, while Madonna, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, Christina Aguilera, Kanye West and Muse had three nominations each.
