Germany Seeks R&D Cooperation With Korea - by - by Kim Sue-Young
South Korea and Germany can build a good partnership in the field of research and development (R&D), based on long amicable relations, a German minister said. ``We believe that Korea is a state with many opportunities and it is necessary to build a foundation for bilateral development,’’ Federal Minister of Education and Research Annette Schavan said in an interview before leaving Seoul yesterday.
Schavan, 51, visited Seoul to promote a one-year campaign, dubbed ``Germany Land of Ideas,’’ to enhance international cooperation in R&D.
