Dutch arrest 6 in terror case
AMSTERDAM—Dutch police have arrested five men and one woman on suspicion of recruiting young Muslims for training for jihad, or "holy war," the public prosecutor's office said yesterday. "We are investigating whether those arrested belonged to a Islamist terrorist organization," a public prosecutor spokesman said. The six are of Dutch, Tunisian, Turkish and Moroccan origin.
The arrests were made in Amsterdam and The Hague in the past two days and were part of an investigation launched last November after the intelligence service received information that three Dutch Muslims were recruited to take part in jihad.
