Protest for respecting Macedonians' rights in Bulgaria
A protest calling for respecting the rights of Macedonians living in Bulgaria will be staged on Friday outside the Office of the European Union Mission in Skopje. The organizers of the protests are the World Macedonian Congress, Alliance of Associations of Macedonians from Aegean Macedonia, Association of Macedonians of Muslim Religion and the Macedonian Students' Union. According to the organizers' announcements, the protests are aimed at voicing support to Macedonian minority living in Bulgaria and a call for registration of their political party OMO "Ilinden" PIRIN.
During the protest, which will last from 12:00 through 13:00 hrs tomorrow, a delegation of the organizers will hand over a Declaration to the European Ambassador to Macedonia, Erwan Fouere and to the Parliament Speaker, Ljubisha Georgievski.
