EU to give EUR 35m to international fund for Palestinians
The European Commission is to put 35 million euros into the Temporary International Mechanism (TIM) Fund for Palestinians this year, EU Commissioner for External Relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner told reporters Monday. She said the amount is expected to increase to 100 million euros later this year.
TIM is run by the European Commission and World Bank and funded mainly by European countries.
