Syria and Ukraine to enhance ties
Speaker of the People Assembly Mahmoud al-Abrash discussed with Head of the Ukrainian Higher Council Alexander Maroz on Monday the Syrian Ukranian bilateral relations. Al-Abrash stressed the historic relationship connecting Syria and Ukraine, noting that his visit aims at enhancing and developing the bilateral ties between the two friendly countries. During the meeting, al-Abrash clarified Syria's stance regarding situations in the region.
For his part, Maroz underlined Syria's main and important role in realizing security and stability in the region, stressing his country's support to Syria's stances in defending her legitimate rights.
