Lebanon’s MEA will buy 8 new Airbus planes
The Chairman of Middle East Airlines ( MEA) , Mohamad el Hout has revealed that the airline intends to expand its fleet by purchasing 8 new Airbus planes for EURO 687 million.
In an interview with a local magazine he revealed that MEA will be able to contribute 15 % towards the cost of the planes and the balance of 85% will be financed . Two Lebanese banks will lead in the financing of 6 of the planes.
