Europeans have cut back on the purchase of flowers by ten percent this year
The Flower and plant industry in the Netherlands has come under serious pressure this year as a result of the world economic slowdown. If this trend continues it is expected that flower and plant exporters in the Netherlands will incur losses up to euro 250 million.
