Aircraft (ndustry: Airbus Military A400M passes wing-load test

The Airbus Military A400M transport has passed its ultimate wing-load test, the company announced Tuesday. The test, on July 22 at Airbus Military's Getafe, Madrid facility subjected the A400M's composite wing to a load equal to 150 percent of the maximum limit it is projected to encounter in service, the company said. The wings bent 4.6 feet.
