Syria: Clashes in front of Ministry of Interior in Damascus

On Wednesday noon, clashes erupted next to the interior minister office at al-Marjeh Square, down town Damascus. Eye witnesses said that fights started when plain-clothes forces stormed the place where families of jailed activists supposed to gather in order to deliver their order to Interior Minister himself.

BBC reported that Interior Minister received few mothers and females at his office and promised to do his best for applying the message himself.

Many reporters were forced to leave the place, while Security Police investigated Day Press camera man Milad Adra and checked his official papers along with his colleagues.
