Middle East - Western Libya towns brace for attacks- by Heba Saleh and Tobias Buck

The pro-Gaddafi forces reasserted their control on Tuesday at border crossings with Tunisia, including the southern Dehiba crossing, where they had been absent the day before.
Libyan army vehicles carrying soldiers armed with machine guns were seen from the Tunisian side and Col Gaddafi’s green flag was strung up at Dehiba.

The border crossing is 60 kilometres west of the inland Libyan town of Nalut, where residents contacted by Reuters news agency said regime forces had been deployed to prevent it from being taken by the rebels.
