The Netherlands: "Lets talk", says van Haersma, CDA government coalition member to opposition after Wilders' PVV withdraws support from Government

Following the loss of support from Wilder's PVV,  Dutch Government coalition member and CDA chairman Haersma Buma indicated  his party's willingness to meet with the parliamentary opposition to find solutions on a variety of issues which were discussed during the 7 week Government austerity negotiations.

In the popular Dutch TV program Nieuwsuur (News-hour) Van Haersma Buma said the issues could include the reform of the housing market, where they and many members of the opposition see eye to eye. He also said the CDA was also ready to take another look at earlier proposed financial cuts in education, and social security retirement  benefits.

Haersma Buma sharply condemned the decision of the Wilders to retract his support for the government after he apparently had been in complete agreement with the issues which had been tabled.
